Visitor Guide

What to expect as a first-time visitor

Welcome

Welcome to PIWC Takoradi. This guide covers what you can do on the website - most features require no account.

What You Can Do Without an Account

  • Listen to sermons
  • Browse upcoming events and register for them
  • Read announcements
  • Browse small groups
  • Give online (as a guest)
  • Submit the visitor connection form
  • Read the public prayer wall

Attending a Service

The full answer to "what happens on a Sunday" now lives on one page: piwctakoradi.org/visit — service times, where we are, what to wear, what happens with children, whether you need to register (you do not), and the rest of what people ask before a first visit. Send it to anyone who asks; it is the page written for exactly that question.

Our services are held every Sunday and mid-week. Check piwctakoradi.org/events for the current schedule, times, and location.

Come as you are — smart casual to formal dress is welcome. If it is your first time, visit the information desk at the entrance where a deacon or deaconess will welcome you personally.

Registering for an Event

  1. Visit piwctakoradi.org/events
  2. Find the event and tap Register
  3. Enter your name, email, and phone number
  4. Tap Submit — you will receive a confirmation email

No account is needed to register for most events.

Listening to Sermons

All sermons are free at piwctakoradi.org/sermons. Browse by speaker, series, or scripture. Tap any sermon card and press Play. Works on any device.

Connecting with Us

If you would like someone from the church to reach out to you:

  1. Visit piwctakoradi.org/new-here
  2. Fill in your name, contact details, and any message
  3. Tap Submit

Only your name and phone number are required. An email address is optional — most people here are reached by phone or WhatsApp, not email. If you would rather just ask a question, the same page has an Or message us on WhatsApp link.

What happens next: Within 3 days, a deacon or deaconess will contact you personally — by phone, WhatsApp, or in person — to welcome you and answer any questions. There is no obligation.

Giving Online

Give at piwctakoradi.org/give without an account. We accept MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo, and card. You will receive a receipt by email.

Creating a Free Account

A free account unlocks: your own member dashboard, the ability to download resources from the library, your giving history, and faster event registration with saved details.

  1. Tap Sign In at the top of the page
  2. Tap Create an account
  3. Enter your name, email, and a password
  4. Tap Register

Applying for Membership

If you have been attending regularly and want to become a formal member, apply at piwctakoradi.org/membership/apply (a free account is required). The process is simple — fill in a short form about your faith background and the membership committee will review and respond within 1–2 weeks.

Questions?

Speak to any deacon or deaconess on a Sunday morning — they wear name badges. Or visit the information desk at the entrance. You can also contact us online.

We look forward to seeing you again.
