THE MAN GOD CAN USE
Introduction
God has always worked through men and women to accomplish His divine purposes on earth. However, He does not use just anyone. God seeks individuals whose hearts are fully committed to Him, who are willing to surrender their lives to His will, and who are prepared to serve His purpose faithfully.
According to 2 Chronicles 16:9, God is constantly searching for people whose hearts are devoted to Him. The question before us today is: What kind of person can God use?
A man God can use is one who is shaped by God's Word, surrendered to God's will, and committed to God's purpose.
1. The Man God Can Use Is Spiritually Minded
A strong spiritual life is the foundation for being used by God.
Characteristics:
Consistent prayer life
Genuine worship and devotion
Fellowship with believers
Dependence on the Holy Spirit
Putting God first in all things

Matthew 6:33
"Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Application:
Your spirituality determines your sensitivity to God's voice. A man who neglects his spiritual life limits God's ability to work through him.
2. The Man God Can Use Is Available
God often uses those who make themselves available.
Characteristics:
Willingness to serve
Readiness to be inconvenienced for God's work
Openness to divine assignments
Surrendered personal ambitions

"Here am I. Send me!"
Application:
God does not always call the most qualified; He often calls the most available and willing.
3. The Man God Can Use Is Loyal
Loyalty is essential in our relationship with God and others.
Characteristics:
Faithfulness to God
Commitment to God's covenant
Integrity in relationships
Dependability in ministry

"Let love and faithfulness never leave you."
Application:
A loyal person remains steadfast even when circumstances become difficult.
4. The Man God Can Use Is Generous
God's nature is generous, and His servants must reflect that character.
Characteristics:
Cheerful giving
Sacrificial service
Sharing wisdom and encouragement
Investing in others

Application:
Generosity is measured not by the amount given but by the sacrifice behind it.
5. The Man God Can Use Leads His Family Well
The family is the first ministry of every believer.

Loving and serving one's spouse
Providing and protecting the family

Application:
True leadership is not domination but servant leadership modeled after Christ.
6. The Man God Can Use Knows God's Word
The Word of God is the believer's guide for life and ministry.

Daily Bible study
Meditation on Scripture
Applying biblical principles
Teaching others God's Word

"Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night."
Application:
A believer who knows God's Word can discern truth, make wise decisions, and effectively fulfill God's purpose.
7. The Man God Can Use Possesses Integrity
Integrity means being the same person in public and private.
Characteristics:
Honesty
Transparency
Moral purity
Accountability

"Whoever walks in integrity walks securely."
Application:
God entrusts greater responsibilities to those whose character can sustain His blessings.
8. The Man God Can Use Is Humble
Humility attracts God's favor.
Characteristics:
Teachable spirit
Dependence on God
Willingness to serve
Recognition that all success comes from God

"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up."
Application:
God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
9. The Man God Can Use Is Courageous
God's work often requires courage.
Characteristics:
Standing for truth
Obedience despite opposition
Faith in difficult situations
Spiritual boldness

Application:
Courage is not the absence of fear but obedience despite fear.
10. The Man God Can Use Is Committed to God's Purpose
God uses people who prioritize His kingdom above personal ambitions.
Characteristics:
Passion for souls
Commitment to ministry
Dedication to God's mission
Eternal perspective

"Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice."
Application:
A life surrendered to God's purpose becomes a vessel for His glory.
Conclusion
God is still searching for men and women He can use. The question is not whether God is looking, but whether we are ready.
May we become people who are:
Spiritually minded
Available
Loyal
Generous
Faithful family leaders
Students of God's Word
People of integrity
Humble
Courageous
Committed to God's purpose
When these qualities are evident in our lives, we become vessels fit for the Master's use.
